News: Greetings again from DRGO!We enjoy providing you with these summaries of our activity and thoughts on the variety of matters we address. Please feel free to call on us for commentary on any Second Amendment matter on which medical expertise may bear.Don’t forget the Second Amendment Foundation’s annual Gun Rights Policy Conference in Chicago September 21, 22 & 23. Register (free!) here, get yourself there and you’re in. We’ll be there! And please keep passing the word about 2Adoc.com, our continuing project to link patients who appreciate their RKBA being respected by their health care providers. We are doing that now, but especially the more primary care practitioners sign up the better. That’s all for now, as we wish you the best of the rest of the summer —

New articles:
On July 31, Project Direct Dr. Arthur Przebinda wrote “Can Kaiser Permanente Be Honest in Gun Research?”. The question pertains to many organizations, but with so vast a reach throughout our most populous state, it matters a great deal what line KP providers are intended to toe. Dr. Gift did a careful reading of “Fatal Firearm Incidents Before and After Australia’s 1996 National Firearms Agreement Banning Semiautomatic Rifles” August 2 from Annals of Internal Medicine. This is another litany of methods commonly used to arrive at the desired conclusions. We published ‘MarkPA’s speculations about how a Kavanaugh Supreme Court might act on Second Amendment issues, with an emphasis on incremental reduction in existing infringements rather than a sea change. See Part 1 August 7 and Part 2 August 9 of “What Will Come from the Kavanaugh Court?”.
